Since the year 2008, Eucharia Development Initiative has been able to reach out to many lives in our society and the world at large. Especially in the lives of less privilege / vulnerable children / less privilege youths and widows.


  • On Saturday 8th September 2012, KC held her Fourth Annual Inter-House Sport Event which had children from the different colours of KC Houses partake in various activities such as match pass, sac race, relay etc. There was also the giving out of back-to-school resources to privileged and under-privileged children in our society.{besps}/new/inter2012{/besps}

Present in this event were;

  • Hon. Mike O. Erhabor; Chairman Coalition of Registered Voters and Senior Special asistant to the Governor on Art Culture & Tourism
  • Mr. Efosa Aguebor; Patron Coalition of Registered Voters and MD Efosa Aguebor International Company Limited
  • Mr. Jacob Amecos; Chairman Elders Council, Coalition of Registered Voters
  • Mr. Jerfred Guebadia; Coalition of Registered Voters of Edo State

  • In the month of February 14th, 2009 and 2010, EDI organized a Valentine Fun Party for less privilege/ vulnerable/homeless children in our society. This is aimed at catering for the less-privilege child, make them feel loved and have a sense of belonging despite their state.

This was held at KC resource Center; No. 1, Deliverance way, Ikpoba Hill, Benin City. Edo State. Nigeria.

The entry was free-of-charge. The children had lots of meal to eat and also had fun with clowns and other cartoon characters.

At the 2nd half of the party, they all went home with gift packs which includes: school books, water bottles, writing pads. They also went home with clothes and shoes.{besps}/new/val{/besps}

  • On the 9th Day of August 2010, EDI organized a campaign against poverty tagged; "A Right To Life, Say No To Poverty".

    About 800 volunteers embarked on this project in order to raise fund for the less privilege/vulnerable / homeless/ street children in our society.{besps}/new/soce{/besps}

  • In the month of September 2009 and 2010, EDI organized an Inter-house sporting event for children which was aimed at building a healthy and physically fit child.

    It is also aimed at building a child’s career.

    It was held at Queen Ede Secondary School field, Benin City, Edo State. Nigeria. During the course of the event, children were presented with back to school packs which included; writing pads, food flasks, water bottles, snacks and school bags.{besps}/new/inter{/besps}

  • On the 12th, 16th and 19th of December 2010, EDI organized a Santa Smile Program for children in different States of Nigeria.

    Over 5000 children were reached. The purpose was to make the children have fun and make them feel loved.{besps}/new/santa{/besps}

  • On Saturday 10th September 2011, KC held her third Inter House sport event which children from the different colours of KC Houses partook in various activities such as match pass, sac race, relay etc. {besps}/new/KC-Inter2011{/besps}

  • Mrs. Christy Egbune; CEO Emmanuel Foundation Educational Centre
  • Mr. Philip Akueta (Senior Counselling Officer; Jesus Deliverance Ministry)
  • Mr. P.A. Mustapher; Area Commander of Police Force
  • Mr. Filani Ojo; Head of Computer, Edo State Urban Water Board.


  • On the 21st day of July 2010, EDI went out to shop for blankets and cardigans for the less privilege children. This was to keep them warm from cold.
  • In September 24th 2010, KC reached out to less privilege children in Oko Community located in Benin City, Edo State. Nigeria. About 100 children were given back to school packs.{besps}/new/childwelfare1{/besps}
  • In the month of December 2010, KC went out to shop for Jeans, shoes and T-shirt for the street/ vulnerable children in our society.

  • KC also donated tables and chairs to Lumley Primary School and Adesuwa Primary School.

    Both schools were also given writing pads and pens.
